the angel pub was in mersey rd west bank fell down in2000 aprox

am i correct in thinking the angel and elephant pub in appleton village had revolving doors in the early 70s. just like the grosvenor?

many thanks-hope there are many more remember the revolving doors at the angel and elephant-4 of my drinking partners are all widnesians,in their mid 60s.and they all told me I was wrong,my wife also remembered it had revolving doors,just like the grosvenor-so when i remember these 2 widnes pubs in the aerly 70s.--am I correct in thinking they were the only 2 in widnes,with revolving doors?

Does anyone know if there was a pub at 18 Albert Road Widnes around 1897?
I think It's Superdrug now.

I lived in Widnes when I was a young boy. Am I right in thinking that Pesto restaurant used to be the Flying Horse. I'm talking early 70's.

The Pesto restaurant used to be called "The Black Horse".
